About Angela
Angela grew up in trees. In water. In the kind of quiet that hums.
She was the kid who heard things others didn't. Felt the shift in a room before anyone spoke. Found more sense in a forest than in most classrooms. She is on the spectrum herself — and she will tell you it is one of the greatest gifts of her life. It shaped how she listens. How she creates. How she finds the kid in the corner who is taking everything in and just needs someone to say — yeah, me too.
Angela spent over 25 years building spaces where people feel safe enough to go deep. As a facilitator, educator, digital visual artist, yoga teacher, and Shamanic Explorer, she has worked everywhere from the Department of Defense to intimate healing circles. What she finds is always the same: people are hungry for stillness, for resonance, for someone to say — your inner world is real and it matters.
Heart Musica is her answer to that.
Angela is also on the spectrum herself — and it is one of the greatest gifts she knows. It means she feels sound differently. Moves through the world differently. Notices things others walk right past. When she works with kids on the spectrum, there is no translation needed. She already speaks that language. She lives in it.
During the week you'll find her as a co-teacher at the local school, working alongside kids with special needs — in the classroom, in the chaos, in the beautiful specific way each kid learns and lights up. This isn't separate from Heart Musica. It's the same love, the same attention, the same refusal to ask anyone to be smaller than they are.
She creates immersive sound experiences that honor both the science of restoration and the mystery of resonance. She is certified in sacred integration facilitation — walking alongside people after meaningful or expanded inner experiences, helping them land with care and discernment.
Every year she leads pilgrimages to Mexico's Sea of Cortez. She makes digital art at the intersection of story, image, sound, and technology. She teaches yoga with the whole body. She is endlessly curious about transformative healing modalities — because this work genuinely lights her up.
